Margaret Mary "Peggy" Guckert Anderson

Margaret Mary "Peggy" Guckert Anderson, 82, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday at home with her family by her side. Born and raised in Syracuse, she graduated from St. Lucy's Academy in 1961 and moved to Baldwinsville in 1965. After raising her five children, Margaret work 28 years with Smith Restaurant Supply in Syracuse retiring in 2014.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church and traveling to the casino. Margaret was an avid gardner and enjoyed dessert.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Estella Guckert; husband, Richard in 2002 and daughter, Doreen in 1968; siblings, Bernice Rolince, Fr. William Guckert and Edward Guckert.

Surviving are her children, Cherie (Beth Corrice) Anderson of Syracuse, Debbie (Bill) Shaw, Richard Anderson, and Theresa (Joe) Robinson all of Baldwinsville; brother, Joe (Carol) Guckert of Syracuse; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Kailie), Ryan and Joey; two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Charlie; many nieces and nephews; and family friend, John Wallace of Baldwinsville.

Calling hours will be held Monday, January 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 30, at 9 a.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
