Marceline "Marcie" Cumm Ecker, 95, passed away on April 1, 2025, at Conesus Lake Nursing Home.
Marcie was born to the late Henry and Ethel Campbell on July 26, 1929 in Tupper Lake, NY, where she was a 1947 graduate of Tupper Lake High School.
Marcie married Lawrence Cumm in 1949 and they moved to Baldwinsville in 1953 where they raised their 4 children.
Marcie served as a bus driver for Baldwinsville Central School District Transportation Department for 28 years, retiring in 1991. She was an avid NY Yankees and Baldwinsville sports fan and active in various organizations including CSEA, Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corp, Baldwinsville Fire Department Auxiliary, St. Mary's Church, and Sisters of St. Francis.
In addition to her parents, Marcie was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Cumm, brothers, Henry "Bunny" Campbell, William "Billy" Campbell; grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Perkins and Duane Michael Woodall.
Marcie is survived by her children, Roxanne (Thomas) Perkins, Ellen (Jeffrey) Stevens, Susan (Duane) Woodall, Lawrence (Lynore) Cumm; sister, Kathleen VanderBerg; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville on Friday, April 4, from 4-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial held at 10 am on Saturday at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Conesus Lake Nursing Home for their compassionate care.
Memorial donations can be made in Marceline's name to St. Mary's Church, Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corp, or Baldwinsville Fire Department.
