Mabel F. (Glewwe) Erickson, 96, of 7430 Buckley Landing, North Syracuse, NY 13212 died Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Loretto. She was born in South St. Paul, Minnesota and lived in Minnesota most of her life until moving to the Syracuse area in 2000. She was an active member of the Riverview Baptist Church, West St. Paul, Minnesota and supervised the church's nursery for many years. She valued her many hours of volunteering with Mounds Park Hospital in St. Paul. She enjoyed bowling and painting with both oils and watercolors. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Arnold Erickson; her son Jerome Erickson; and 11 sisters and brothers.

Survivors: are her daughter Marna Dixit of Ottawa, Canada; her son, Ronald Erickson of East Syracuse, NY; her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Erickson of Cameroon, Africa; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: A memorial service will be at 2:00pm Saturday, July 8, 2006 the First Baptist Church of Syracuse, 5833 East Seneca Turnpike, Jamesville, NY 13078, (315) 469-2000. A memorial service in Minnesota will be held at a later date.
