Luna E. Gasowski, 8, passed away at home on Sunday, May 31st surrounded by her family that loved her very much. Luna fought a long hard courageous battle with cancer and was a fighter until the end. She was a very happy girl who loved to swim, play with her dolls, and listen to music. Luna had a smile that would light up the moon. She touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around her.
Luna is survived by her parents Luke and Laura Walters Gasowski; brother, Liam; maternal grandparents, William and Elaine Walters; paternal grandparents, Ronald (Margie O'Connor) Gasowski and Maryann (Dickran) Garbooshian; aunts, Sarah Gasowski, Jennifer Martino, and Kimberly (Timothy) Howard; and Godparents, Daniel and Sharon Wiecek.
Services are private due to the NYS governor's executive order. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Luna's name to the Center for Childhood Cancer Research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
