Loren M. Johnson, 80, of Baldwinsville, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at his home. He was born in Polk County, WI, and was a graduate of Cato-Meridian High School. Loren worked on a Dairy Crop Farm for 31 years in Ira, NY and then worked for G.E. for 13 years. He retired as a Superintendant at Marsellus Casket Co. after 16 years and continued as a Consultant there for an additional 10 years. Loren was very active in both the South Hannibal Federated Church and the Meridian Baptist Church where he was a past Deacon and Treasurer. He was currently a member of the Christ Community United Methodist Church, Syracuse. He enjoyed taking care of his grandchildren and participating in their activities. His hobbies included bingo, bowling and woodworking. Loren was predeceased by his brother, Harry Wayne Johnson in 2005.

Survivors: his wife of 59 years, the former Viola E. Langdon; two daughters, Christine (Austin) Smith of Conquest, NY and Jackie (Mike) Kreis of Pennellville; two sons, Stephen (Kerry) Johnson of Newark, NY and Timothy (Crystal) Johnson of Sodus; two sisters, Drusilla Feeback of Kansas City, MO and Ardella Xarhis of Kansas City, KS; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Monday, March 27, 2006 at the Meridian Baptist Church. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 4-8pm Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
