Obituary

Lester E. Sonnenberg, 83, of Memphis died Monday, September 5, 2005 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Bertha, MN and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a 1949 graduate of North Dakota State College and was an electrical engineer for G.E. in Syracuse for 35 years before retiring in 1987. Lester enjoyed boating and fishing and was an avid golfer & bowler.

Survivors: his wife of 48 years, Dorothy A.; a daughter, Janice Green of Hamstead, NH; a son, Paul E. of Kingston; three sisters, Erna Dawson of St. Paul, MN, Alice Rogen of Portland, OR and Leora Bishop of Sonora, CA; two brothers, Richard and Alvin of Appleton, WI; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours: 2-5pm Friday, September 9, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services and burial will be private.
