Leopold J. Meier, 88, of Cazenovia passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at University Hospital. He was born in Munich, Germany and moved to Baldwinsville in 1934. He was a 1938 graduate of Baldwinsville High School and received his Bachelor's Degree of Science at Hamilton College in 1942. He was an army veteran of WWII and retired in 1985 as a chemist for Church & Dwight Company, Syracuse. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Phyllis C. Long Meier in 1960 and his second wife Laura Park Meier.

Survivors: two sons, Carl S. of Duxbury, MA and John J. of Ballston Spa, NY; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:00am Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 3-5pm Monday, December 29, 2008 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
