Leonard "Lenny" Lasinsky, Jr., 39, of Sarasota, FL formerly of Baldwinsville died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at his home. He was born in Syracuse, raised in Baldwinsville and has lived in Florida since 1997. Lenny was a Sales Representative at American Torch, Inc. Bradenton, FL. An accomplished golfer, Lenny began playing at the age of 3. He won the NYS Junior Amateur tournament in 1983 and the NYS Men's Amateur in 1991. Lenny won the Herald Journal Amateur 4 years in a row in 1989, 90, 91, and 92. He was also named Syracuse District Player of the Year. While in college at Coastal Carolina, he was a member of the 1st Team All Stars in the Big South Conference.

Survivors: his parents, Leonard and Karen Lasinsky, a sister, Sharon A. Lasinsky of DeWitt; a brother, David L. (Cynthia) Lasinsky of Liverpool; an uncle, Jerome Lasinsky of Lakeland and two nieces Ashley and Brooke.

Services: 9:00 am Saturday, February 3, 2006 at St. Augustines Church, 7333 O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville Spring burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 5-8pm Friday, February 2, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
