Leonard "Lenny" Hamiton, 83, of Pulaski, passed away Monday. Born in Syracuse, he was a veteran of the both the Marine Corps and Army, having served three tours in Vietnam, and a tour in Desert Storm.

Lenny received numerous commendations for his service which included, three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, and a Bronze Star.

He enjoyed hunting, going to the shooting range with his buddies, traveling, watching old western movies, and was known by everyone as a true animal lover. Above all, he was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Virgina Hamilton; and his brother, Gerald "Jerry" Hamilton; and nephew, Gerald Hamilton Jr.

Lenny is survived by his children, Denise (Tom) Connors and Leonard (Sheryl) Hamilton Jr.; brother, Earl (Gail) Hamilton; ex-son-in-law, Scott; six grandchildren, Ryan, Cassidy, Leonard III, Delaney, Matthew, and Daniel; three great-grandchildren, Ryder, Devin Jo, and Mallory; several nieces and nephews; goddaughter, Patsy Suter; and long time-partner, Betty Lyboldt.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m at the Falardeau Funeral Home , 93 Downer with a service to follow at 7 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at Iroquois Nursing Home for the constant care and kindness they showed their "Uncle Lenny".

Burial will be Monday, August 17, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
