Leland F. Rice, 87, of Baldwinsville passed away Monday, August 27, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse. He was a native of Baldwinsville and a graduate of the Baldwinsville Academy. He began his career at Morris Machine Works, Baldwinsville and retired in 1981 as a Shift Supervisor at Nestles in Fulton. Leland was pre-deceased by his wife, Jean Brock Rice in 1994, his daughter, Marsha Jean Rice in 2006 and his grandson, Joel Rice in 1997.

Survivors: four sons, Thomas, Jeremy (Karen) and John (LouAnn) all of Baldwinsville, and Andrew (Kim) of Plainville; a brother, Nelson of N. Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services and burial: 10:00am Friday, August 31, 2007 at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
