Lawrence Anthony Furco, born on September 8, 1937, in Syracuse, NY, passed away on December 25, 2024. He lived a full life and made lasting memories with those who knew him.
Larry, as he was affectionately known, had a successful career as a radar technician with General Electric, contributing to the defense industry. He proudly served in the Army, showing dedication and commitment to his country.
Larry was married to his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Lucille, for 62 wonderful years. Together, they created a warm and loving family that he cherished deeply. He is survived by his daughter Theresa (Larry), son Vincent, grandchildren Jason (Erin), Joel (Jamey), Ben (Jessica), great-grandchildren Gwyneth, Evelyn, Theo, Sam, Emma, Olivia, Isaac, and Dahlia. He also leaves behind his sister Gloria.
For many years, Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing, embracing the great outdoors. He loved camping, boating, and picnicking, often surrounded by friends and family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Larry will be remembered for his kind heart, warm spirit, and the joy he brought to family gatherings and his legacy will continue through his loved ones.
Per his request, he was cremated and no calling hours will take place.
Lawrence was preceded in death by: his parents Anthony and Carmelita Furco and wife Lucille.
