Obituary

Lawrence A. ''Chick'' Coleman, 64, of West Genesee Street, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, he moved to Baldwinsville in 1947. He graduated from C. W. Baker High School in 1954. He retired in 1972 as a metallurgical inspector at Crucible Steel in Solvay. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 153, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 644 and attended St. Mary's Church, all in Baldwinsville. He was a member of the Industrial Horseshoe League at Crucible.

Survivors: Two sons, Ricardo A. of Conyers, Ga., and Richard A. of Syracuse; a sister, Shirley M. Turcotte of Baldwinsville; a brother, William L. of Kirkville; his companion of more than 25 years, A. Joan Bort; seven grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Church. Burial, Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan. Calling hours, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
