Laurence F. Kelly, 78, of Baldwinsville, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002. Born in Rochester, he lived in Baldwinsville since 1952. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He retired in 1974 as a marketing manager in heavy military radio guidance operations, missile guidance systems with General Electric after 22 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. He was instrumental in starting St. Mary's Elementary School in Baldwinsville and was a member of the American Rocket Society. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. A son, Patrick L. died in 1967; another son, Richard C., died in 1970.

Survivors: His wife of 57 years, the former Marie F. Marceau; three daughters, Laurene M. Kelly of Syracuse, Mary E. Kelly of North Syracuse and Catherine A. Kelly of Rochester; three sons, Dr. William G. of Baldwinsville, David M. of Pittsburgh and Laurence F. Jr. of Manassas, Va.; five grandchildren.

Services: Private in St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. No calling hours. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has arrangements.
