Larry W. McCullar, 66, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at University Hospital. He was born in Paulsboro, NJ and has lived in Baldwinsville since 1972. He retired from Crucible Steel after 35 years. Larry started the Village Green Area Athletic Club where he was a coach, umpire and athletic organizer, which included the Girls Softball Traveling Team. Larry worked very hard but mostly enjoyed entertaining family and friends.

Survivors: son Jeffrey T. McCullar and his children Valerie, Alexis, Courtney, and daughter-in-law, Amy all of Baldwinsville; daughter Jennifer McCullar and her son Chaz, both of Syracuse; son Gregery McCullar and his children Brittany, Gregery, Jr., Damond and fiance' Tammy Grossa all of Atlanta, GA; daughter Glenda Henderson and her children Alexis, Fentress and son-in-law Fentress all of Atlanta, GA; his mother Bessie McLean of Philidelphia, PA; several aunts, uncles and cousins including Lisa Johnson and Sharon Taylor.

Calling hours are 3 to 6pm Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A brief family rememberance will be at the end of calling hours.

Memorial Services 11:00am to 12:30pm Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Central Baptist Church, 1926 Midland Ave. Syracuse with Rev. Milton Kornegay officiating.
