Larry I. DeRycke, 73, of N. Syracuse, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Pontiac Nursing Home.

He was a self-employed public accountant most of his life.

Larry was always the loudest voice and biggest smile in the room.  He pulled you into any story that he was telling, whether you were ready to hear it or not. His laughs and hugs will forever be missed by his five grandchildren and his two sons.

Larry loved nothing more in this world than his wife and family.  He will always have a place in our hearts and at the game table.

He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Linda Mae.

Larry is survived by his two children, Timothy (Erin Carey) and Lincoln; sister, Alice Barker; and brother, David DeRycke; and several nieces and nephews.

His greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren, Laken, Jami, Marlee (Brad) Wilson, Elyssa (Erik) Roger, and Katrina DeRycke and his three great-grandsons, James and Elliott Wilson and Matthew DeRycke.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
