Kristin D. Wolford, 35, of New Hartford, formerly of Auburn, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, after losing her battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse and resided most of her adult life in Auburn. Kristin received her Bachelors Degree from Oswego State and had been employed as a sports journalist/editor with The Citizen newspaper in Auburn for the past 10 years.


She was predeceased by her father, Thomas B. Kowaleski in 2007.



She is survived by her husband, Eli G. J. Wolford; her children, Jackson 7, Owen 4 and Ryan 1; her mother, Diane Kowaleski; her grandmother, Arlene Wells; her brothers, Thomas and Eric Kowaleski; her half-brothers, Michael and Christopher; several aunts, uncles and cousins.


Calling hours are 4:00pm- 8:00pm Friday, May 27th at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am May 28, 2016 at St. Mary's Church Auburn. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga.
