Kristen Margaret Salisbury died peacefully in her sleep on February 10, 2023.  Kristen was born in Syracuse, New York on August 3, 1973, to Mary and John Salisbury.

Kristen grew up in three areas within the United States, (New York, Florida, and Washington DC), where she attended public schools.  She graduated from Montgomery County Schools in 1994.  Upon graduation, Kristen blossomed into an independent woman, traveling to and from work via the Washington DC metro which she navigated like a professional.

Kristen loved life, which was rich and full.  She loved to dance, where her skills were once recognized by pop singer Debbie Gibson who invited her up on stage during one of her concerts.    She also loved to sing and was always singing the latest pop music.    Kristen also loved word search puzzles and spaghetti.  Kristen participated in the New York State Special Olympics in cross country skiing and was asked to represent the USA at the International Special Olympics in Park City, UT.  While living in the Washington DC area, Kristen was selected to represent the "Best Buddy" program for Montgomery County, Maryland which included a formal dinner at the home of Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

Kristen was predeceased by her older brother Michael and her loving grandparents.   She is survived by her loving parents John and Mary Salisbury of Baldwinsville, her sister Kathy (Rob) Tallman of Randolph, NJ, her sister Karen (Jeff) Hatter of Captiva, FL, and her brother Kurt (Nancy) Salisbury of Chagrin Fall, OH.  She is also blessed with 9 nieces and nephews and 1 one great-niece.  Kristen also leaves behind a Galster House family and a larger L'Arche family who loved and cared for her.  Every member of the Salisbury family will truly miss Kristen.  She made us all better people and we are blessed to have known and loved Kristen.

Calling hours are 4-6 pm Tuesday, February 14 ^th at Falardeau Funeral Home in Baldwinsville NY.  A mass of Christian burial is 11am Wednesday, February 15 ^th at St Mary's Church in Baldwinsville.
