Krista Sue Young, 52 of East Syracuse, passed away at her home on April 1, 2025 following a long illness, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.

Krista attended C.W. Baker High School, and then earned her Bachelor's Degree from Oswego State University before embarking on a successful career in the insurance industry most recently with Brown and Brown Insurance, where she was known for her professionalism and strong work ethic. Krista was a lover of dogs, often finding joy and companionship in her furry friends.

She was predeceased by her sister Joellen and nephew Brandon in 1993.

Krista is survived by her father, Frederick (Susan) Stoddard; mother, Suellen Stoddard; significant other, Mark Peterson; son Andrew (Candace); and grandson, Teague.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1-4 pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.  A Funeral service will follow at 4PM.
