Kenneth C. Smithers, Jr., 52, of Solvay, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Flora and Kenneth Smithers, Sr.

Survivors: his sister, Flora (Martin) Long of Fulton; brothers, Perry (Maryann) Draper of Syracuse and Thomas Draper of Oswego; his girlfriend, Jennifer Brinkman and her daughter Hailey Loucks; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Ken's life will take place at 1:00pm Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Locker Room on Hiawatha Blvd.
