Kenneth G. Mills, 71, of Baldwinsville died Monday, January 12, 2009 at St. Josephs Hospital. He was born in Syracuse the son of Howard and Helen Mills and was a life resident of Baldwinsville. Ken graduated from Baker High School in 1955 and was employed with his father, Howard Mills & Sons Produce, on the family farm. He served with the US Army 391st Infantry Regiment. Ken retired in 1992 from Greyhound Lines, Inc. as a driver after many years of service and was also a driver instructor for a short period with the company. He cherished his family and walks at Beaver Lake Nature Center. Ken was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother, Leland Mills.



Survivors: his wife of 51 years, the former Elizabeth M. "Betsy" Peck; his daughters, Terri Ann (Buster) Braley of Red Creek and Debbie (Tom) Hughes of Weedsport; his son, Douglas K. (Darlene Piper) Mills of N. Syracuse; his sisters, Beverly Schneider and Sally Deering both of Baldwinsville; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.



Services: 10:00am Friday, January 16, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
