Keith R. Rutherford, 46, of Baldwinsville died Friday, October 31, 2008, at University Hospital following a fight with cancer. Born in Long Branch, NJ, Keith graduated from C.W. Baker High School, Onondaga Community College and the Culinary Arts Institiute. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the Baldwinsville Lions Club. Keith worked in various careers, notably as an executive chef, before becoming blind 10 years ago. Most recently, Keith was employed at the Syracuse VA Hospital by Aurora of CNY.

He was predeceased by his father, Courtney, Sr., his sister Diane, his brother Randy, and his seeing eye dog, Chester.

Survivors: three daughters, Ranaye, Sarah and Rebecca; his mother, Town Justice Claire E. Rutherford, a brother, Courtney "Court" and his wife, Mindy Rutherford; several nieces and a nephew.

Services: 11:00am Monday, November 3, 2008, at Grace Episcopal Church, 110 Oswego Road, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 2:30-7:00pm Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
