Kathleen, known to all as Kathy, passed away early Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family. After almost a year fighting cancer, it claimed her body but never her spirit.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Joseph L. Stummer; her children Joseph (Kim) Stummer, Jill Stummer, and Jaclyn Stummer (Michael Bell Meinert); her brothers Matthew and Michael Fearon; and her sisters Donna Guy and Ginger Fearon.

She was predeceased by her father, Lawrence J. Fearon; her mother, Margaret M. (Kelly) Fearon; her brother, Mark S. Fearon; and her nephew, Mark C. Fearon.

Kathy was a stay-at-home mom until her youngest started first grade. She then started her career as an administrative assistant with the family business, New York Marking Devices, working alongside her husband and family for almost 40 years. Kathy quickly flourished into the heart and soul of the company, creating many years of lasting relationships with their business associates.

Kathy's greatest accomplishment was raising her children alongside her husband, Joe. She always put her family first, no matter what; and was a shining light to the many people she knew throughout her life.

The world dimmed the day Kathy left us, but Heaven got a whole lot brighter.

Calling hours will be Friday, August 7 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.

A committal service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 8, at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 8668 Oswego Road (Rte 57), Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
