Katherine Aherin O'Connell Nortz, 88, of Baldwinsville died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at Birchwood Health Care Center. She was a native and life resident of Baldwinsville. Katherine was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She was a hairdresser in Baldwinsville for many years. She was pre-deceased by her husband Daniel J. O'Connell in 1972.

Survivors: her husband of 25 years, Hilary C. Notrtz; two sons, Daniel J. O'Connell, Jr. of Baldwinsville and Terry O'Connell of Cicero; two stepdaughters, Val Kelly and Judy Hammon; three stepsons, Joseph, Jack and Jay Nortz; four grandsons, Michael, Mark, Pat, and Christopher O'Connell and three great-grandchildren, Shawn, Austin, and Renee'.

Services: 9:30am Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home and 10:00am at St. Mary's Church. Spring burial, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
