Katherine E. (Riale) Eischen passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Syracuse to the late Harry and Margarete (Swieton) Riale, Kathy made East Syracuse her home.

Kathy's heart belonged to her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She found peace and happiness in the outdoors, often taking quiet moments to admire the wildlife she loved so dearly. As a gifted cook, Kathy expressed her love through the wonderful meals she prepared for her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Matthew, Erich, Janine (Peter), and Daniel, as well as several grandchildren. In honoring her wishes, services will be private.
