June E. Harris Surowick, 78, of Baldwinsville died peacefully Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Francis House. She was born in High River, Alberta, Canada, raised in Owego and lived in Baldwinsville since 1949. June and her husband, Norman, who died in 1983, owned and operated a farm for many years. An avid gardener, she also loved antiquing, dancing, sports and spending time with her grandchildren. June was involved with the Canton Woods Nutrition Program for many years.

A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children; Elaine Surowick of Ithaca, Jancy (James) Mathews of Baldwinsville, Carol (Steve) Holt of Phoenix, Laura (Neil) Snyder of Morgantown, WV, Raymond (Kathi) Surowick of Liverpool, Marcia (Michael) Wilsterman of Barberton, OH, and Julia (Stephon) Starrantino of Baldwinsville; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister; 4 brothers; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:00 am Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
