Joyce Nixon, 71, passed away March 28 in Florida. She was born in Baldwinsville, NY to the late Edward and Frances VanWie. Joyce worked in the medical field for many years and most recently worked for Christian Health Services in Syracuse. Joyce was a family woman and loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play sports.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 22 years, Richard Nixon; daughter, Marie (Scott) Robinson; step-children, Corrie (Sean) Jackson and Christoper (Amy) Nixon; grandchildren, Nicholas Rivers, Nathan Robinson, Zachary and Madeline Jackson, and Sierra and Arianna Nixon; sisters, Ardys (Jim) Williams and Darice (Howard) Schremph; nephew, Mark Williams; and niece, Kelly (Matt) Roehl.

Calling hours are 10-12pm Saturday, April 7 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville, with a service to follow at the funeral home.
