Joseph Neugent, 73, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 at University Hospital. Joe lived in Baldwinsville with his son Eric and granddaughter Celina. Joe served in the US Army after graduating from CBA in 1953. He also attended LeMoyne College. Joe prepared income taxes for over 40 years, starting with the family business; Neugent Income Tax Service, before opening Long Forms, Short Forms in Eastwood, where he currently was working with his son. Joe enjoyed his family immensely and was an Elder of the Blessed Hope Church in Clay. Joe was pre-deceased by his wife of 48 years, Lucille in March of 2006 and his son John in 1978.

Survivors: his children, Mary (Lynn Jr.) Recore of Syracuse, Basil (Angelique) of Torrance, CA, and Eric of Baldwinsville; a sister; Meg (Neal) Hoffman of DeWitt and a brother; Basil (Susie) Neugent of TN.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:00am Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Monday, January 19, 2009 at the funeral Home.
