Joseph John Kieskowski, 88, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday, November 7 peacefully with his loving wife of 45 years by his side. Joseph was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army and when he returned he used the G. I. bill to attend Syracuse University. He became a teacher and spent most of his career helping many children in B'ville learn to read. He was frequently recognized in the grocery store with a "Hi, Mr. K." Joe loved Syracuse sports and a cold beer after a long day or really any day. He had endless patience and love for his family and loved to garden.

Joseph is predeceased by his son, Mark Kieskowski, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Surviving Joseph are his wife, Annalissa; daughters, Ellie (William) Leach, Heidi Kieskowski, Elizabeth (George Lee) Kieskowski, Charlotte (Leslie Wright) Locke; sister, Kathy Riker; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are Tuesday, November 12, 4-7 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St Baldwinsville. Services will be Wednesday, November 13, at 10:30 am at 1st United Methodist Church, 17 W Genesee St, Baldwinsville.
