Joseph L. Hall II, 79, of Baldwinsville, passed away Wednesday. Born in Syracuse, he moved to Baldwinsville in 1969. He was a graduate of St. Lucy's Academy in Syracuse. Joe was employed 35 years with Carrier Corp retiring in 2000 and most recently employed with Taft Rd. Wegmans in the bakery and meat department.
He enjoyed playing on his bowling, softball and golf leagues, his trips to the Turning Stone Casino, and playing scratch off tickets. But above all, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially hosting many gatherings at his home and around the swimming pool.
He was predeceased by his parents, James and Mafalda Lorini Hall; daughter, Tina Marie Hall Parsley; son, Joseph L. Hall III; brothers, Richard and Paul Hall; and his sweet niece, Louisa Mattiacio.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lou "Lou" Hall; grandchildren, Robert (Alyssa) Parsley of Liverpool and Kristen (Joseph Corbishley) Parsley of Fulton; brother, James (Diane) Hall of Liverpool; sisters, Mary "Peg" (Tony) Mattiacio of Clay, Theresa (Mike) Montreal of Cicero; son-in-law, Mark (Angela) Parsley of Baldwinsville; sisters-in-law, Joan Hines, and Jean Rice; many nieces and nephews; and godsons, Ron Hall and Brian Mattiacio.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 30, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at 10:30 a.m at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
