John M. Yerdon, 56, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Cornell University. He was an avid outdoorsman, a loving father and grandfather. He recently retired in March after thirty years of faithful federal law enforcement service.

Survivors: his wife of 37 years, Karon (Young) Yerdon of Baldwinsville; 2 sons, Shawn (Erin) Yerdon of Albany and Ian Yerdon of Cazenovia; 3 daughters, Patricia (Tony) DeLappi and Elizabeth (Matt) Fisher, both of Ohio and Adrienne (Rick) Foederer of Albany; his mother; Mary Doreen Yerdon of Hermon, NY, 2 brothers, 7 sisters and 6 grandchildren.

Services: 7:00pm Friday, July 9, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
