John "Carl" Roth, 76, of Baldwinsville died Friday, January 9, 2015, at Loretto. He was born in Syracuse on October 31, 1938 the son of the late Carlton and Helen Flavin Roth. Carl was a graduate of St. Aloysius Academy in Rome and then attended Le Moyne College. He worked as a Director Of Safety & Claims at Deluxe Lines Inc., Syracuse. Carl was very active in the Knights of Columbus Council 7928 as District Deputy and Grand Knight. He was always active and giving of his time as a volunteer for: Brady Faith Center, former President of Liverpool Marching Band Booster and was a communicant and acolyte at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Mary Roth and his brother, James Roth.

Survived: by his loving wife of 56 years Dorothy Koons Roth; children: James (Eileen) Roth of North Carolina, Mary Beth (John) Drumm, John (Kathy) Roth and Michael (Chrystal) Roth; grandchildren: Joe (Kate), Stephanie(Nick), Jeremy, Caitlyn, Josh, Makayla and Shannon.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, from 4-7pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
