IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John K.
Ramaglino
September 22, 1964 – July 4, 2023
John K. Ramaglino, 58, of Syracuse, died Tuesday at St Joseph's Hospital. Always wanting to present his best to family and friends, he mowed his lawn to beautiful perfection on what has been declared the hottest day on record worldwide. Though he rebounded time and time again from his cardiac issues, this day proved to be too much.
From a young age John showed his drive to keep busy and earn a buck. He worked many jobs from the age of 10 onward, from bowling alley pin setter as a kid to selling cars as a young adult. He was a phenomenal salesman. He was most passionate, though, about helping people both with his volunteer work with the Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps, where he served as president for some time, and with his career at Capital Oxygen. While servicing oxygen equipment at a client's home, she fell into cardiac arrest, and he performed CPR to save her life. He was most recently with Upstate Home Care.
John avidly followed the Buffalo Bills and greatly enjoyed his wins at the poker tables at Turning Stone. He will be remembered for his humor and contagious smile.
Surviving are his son Anthony Ramaglino; his mother Donna Ramaglino; siblings, Deborah (Ramaglino) & Kevin Schwab and children Kristin Noriega, Brian Schwab, Sydney Schwab & Luke Warner; Donald & Teresa (Hill) Ramaglino and children Dustin Hibbard, Victoria Lynn Ramaglino, Brittany Fosland & Victoria Carde; Travis & Katrina (Britt) Ramaglino and children Zachary Ramaglino & Samantha Ramaglino; Michelle (Ramaglino) & Rolando Mendoza and children, Jennifer (Mendoza) & Brom Miller, Rolando Jr & Jessica Mendoza, John & Kaitlyn Mendoza, Xavier Mendoza, Gabrielle Mendoza & Joshua Mendoza; his aunt & uncle Tina (Ramaglino) & Archie Kell; cousins Melinda Meredith, Isabella Anderson-Harder; Tracy Anderson and Amanda & Derick Matheson; his best friend Richard "Dick" Kelly and his beloved beagle, LB.
John is predeceased by his father John C. Ramaglino and brother Scott Ramaglino.
