Obituary

John T. Nolan Sr., 84, of Seneca View Drive, Van Buren, died Sunday, January 26, 2003. Born in Syracuse, he moved to the Baldwinsville area in 1966. He retired as a truck driver for Teamsters Local 317 after 45 years. He was past commander of Salt City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 348 and a member of Baldwinsville VFW Post 153. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Eleanor J., died in 1994.

Survivors: Three daughters, Eva Armstrong of Syracuse, Mary J. Miller of North Syracuse and Ruth Waybright of Baldwinsville; two sons, John T. Jr. of Brandon, Fla., and Timothy J. of Syracuse; a sister, Viola Ernshaw of East Syracuse; a brother, William of Manlius; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
