John A. Morehouse, 90, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Chateaugay, NY and had lived in Baldwinsville since 1950. John was a well-known and very successful tire salesman for most of his long working career, which lasted until the age of 85. He also worked extra as an Onondaga County special deputy sheriff from 1969 to the 80's. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. John loved to fish and spend time with his family.
John was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years Marie E. Morehouse. Surviving are his daughters, Linda(M. (Jerry) McArdell, Gail DeGroff, and Lisa (David) Laffin; his son Bruce J. (Brenda Kellar) Morehouse; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Venette; a brother Jerry Morehouse; several nieces and nephews.
John's services will be private.
