John F. Kotlik, 97, passed away peacefully on July 13. He was born in Buffalo, NY to John G. and Frances Kotlik. John served as a WW II Infantry Officer and a Company Commander in the US Army. He also served as a Captain in the Army Reserves. He graduated from the University of Buffalo and was previously employed as a Chemist for Hanford Pharmaceuticals in Syracuse. John enjoyed music and home projects, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.

John is predeceased by his son-in-law, William Peters, and 3 brothers and 1 sister.

John is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ann Terhorst Kotlik; daughters, Karen (Mike) Kallet, Debbie (Dave) Meyer, and Paula Peters; grandchildren, Jeff Kallet, Kathryn (David) Argento, Melanie and Jill Meyer, and Bobby Peters.
