John "Jack" Leslie Delaney died May 3, 2017 in his home in Cypress Lakes, Lakeland, Florida. He was born on September 23, 1931 in Baldwinsville, NY, and is the son of Leslie and Ethel Delaney. John married his high school sweetheart Doris Schneider on May 15, 1954. John served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville and a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus in Baldwinsville. John worked for 40 years for the AAA Club, retiring as President in 1996. John was a former member of the Bellevue Country Club and current member of the Big Cypress Lakes Golf Club.

John is predeceased by his wife, Doris Schneider Delaney in March, 1997. He is also predeceased by his two sisters, Ellen Kennedy and Mary Koegel.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10 am on Monday, June 26, 2017 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tappan Street, Baldwinsville.
