John W. Back, 76, of Liverpool died Saturday, August 30, 2003 at home. He was born in Watertown and lived most of his life in the Baldwinsville area before moving to Liverpool in 1997. He was employed 32 years with L. B. Smith, Inc., East Syracuse and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Mr. Back was an avid Bowler and golfer. He is pre-deceased by his wife of 52 years, Theresa (Barone) Back who passed away in 1997.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Fletcher of Liverpool and Bonnie Back of Rome; one son, John M. Back of Seattle, WA; one sister, Katherine Malikow of NC; one brother, Joseph Back of E. Syracuse; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 7:00pm Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 5-7pm Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
