Obituary

John A. Doran, 56, of Seneca Street, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday. Born in Rockville Centre, he lived 29 years in Baldwinsville. He graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School, Queens, and City College of New York, where he was president of Phi Sigma Kappa. He was a self-employed writer and owner of Imagic Marketing Communications Inc. for nine years and previously worked 20 years at Carrier Corp. He was a member of Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church and a volunteer driver for the Baldwinsville Express at Canton Woods Senior Center. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors: His wife of 35 years, the former Deborah Barton; three daughters, Cynthia F. Stephenson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Heather L. Fitzpatrick of Warrenton, Va., and Elizabeth H. Doran of Mount Kisco; his mother, Mildred Doran of Queens; a sister, Maureen Godwin of Los Altos, Calif.; three brothers, Stephen G. of Bellerose, Peter M. of South Ozone Park and Mark L. of Massapequa; four grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church. Burial, 2 p.m. Wednesday in Virgil Cemetery. Calling hours, 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
