Joel F. VanKeuren, 83, of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday at St. Camillus Nursing and Rehabilitation. A life resident of Baldwinsville, he was employed with Crouse-Hinds for many years. Joel was a people person and loved the warm weather, enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville and former Scoutmaster with BSA Troop 71 for 20 plus years. Joel was also past president of the Baldwinsville Marching Band parents support group.

Joel was predeceased by his parents, Dale and Mary; son, Stephen Michael; and sister, Kristen VanKeuren.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; daughter Lori Linton; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; niece and nephew; as well as many cousins and close friends.

Calling hours will be Friday, June 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Baldwinsville.
