Obituary

Joe Mancroni, 88, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday at St. Josephs Hospital. He was born in Canastota and has lived in the Baldwinsville area for over 50 years. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was once a volunteer for the Belgium Cold Springs Fire Dept. Joe retired in 1987 from Colony Liquor after more than 30 years. He was a faithful husband, an assiduous provider and an honest and forthright man. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Lorraine in 1997, his brother Carmelo Maccarone in November 2010 and sister Mary Loguidice.

Survivors: his sons, Brian J. (Julie) Mancroni of North Blenheim, NY, Wayne J. (Barbara) Mancroni of Rock Hill, NY and Scott J. (Ann) Mancroni of Midland, MI; his daughter, Melanie M. (Kenneth) Bex of Kirkville; his brothers, Sam Maccarone of Oneida, Leonard Maccarone of Canastota and Al Maccarone, Jr. of the Oneida area; 8 grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

On Saturday, April 30th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. a Memorial Service for Joe Mancroni will be held at the CrossRoads Community Church located at 1751 Fyler Road, Chittenango, New York. A reception and time for fellowship will follow immediately after the service. Thereafter, a graveside service with burial will be held at the Lysander Rural Cemetery, Lamson Road, Lysander, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
