Joan A. Schneid Vaccaro of Cato died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. She was born in Oswego May 21, 1929. Joan was an avid gardener, painter and quilter.

Survivors: her husband and soulmate of 50 years, Rinaldo "Ben" Vaccaro; three daughters, Rosemary Vaccaro of Fulton, Cheri Prent-Janas (Stephen) of Weedsport and Penny Murphy of Oswego; a son, James of Nedrow; her beloved grandchildren, Jessica, Adam, David, Maria, Troy, Jonathen, Jonathan, Kali and Matthew.

Services: 11:15am Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 12:00pm at St. Patrick's Church, Cato. Spring burial in Union Hill Cemetery, Cato. Calling hours are 2-4 & 7-9pm Friday, March 11, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
