IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan
Poissant
September 13, 1970 – December 27, 2025
Joan Poissant, age 55, of Pulaski, New York, passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind family changed by her absence and forever shaped by her love.
Joan was a mother, grandmother, sister, and soul whose heart lived for those she loved. Her love was wild and powerful, steady and unwavering. She carried deep strength within her, meeting life's hardships with resilience and grace, even when the weight was heavy.
She is survived by her sisters, Janet Humphrey and Janice Poissant Farmer, and her brother, Louis Joseph Poissant. She lives on through her daughters, Jessica Charles and Amanda Lyman, who were the center of her world, and through her precious grandchildren, Rylie and Liam Charles, whose laughter brought her light and joy beyond measure.
Joan's love did not end with her passing-it continues in the memories she leaves behind, in the lives she shaped, and in the bonds of family and friends she cherished so deeply. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains woven into every heart she touched.
She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
Services for Joan will be held on Friday, January 9, at 4:00 p.m. at the Mohegan Manor, 58 Oswego St., Baldwinsville.
