Joan A. Monica, 70, of Hannibal, passed way Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Oswego Hospital. She was a native of Syracuse and had previously lived in the Lakeland area for over 35 years. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 38 years, John T. Monica in 1998.

Survivors: 3 daughters, Mary Ledford of Fulton, Marilyn (William) Barber of Kirkville and Mitzy (Kevin Blaisdell) Wilczek of Hannibal; a sister, Roxanne Korrigan of Lakeland; brothers, Daniel and Scott Beeles; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
