Joan L. MacConaghy, 87, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place. She was born in Rumford, ME to Frederick and Philomene Dubois. She previously lived in Solvay and moved to Seneca Knolls in 1959. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church. Joan worked for the Seneca Knolls Food Liner and retired in 1992 from BG Sulzle in Liverpool.

Joan is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert L. MacConaghy and her son Robert J.

Joan is survived by a daughter, Gail (Frank) Battaglia; daughter-in-law, Donna MacConaghy; three sons, Tim (Joanne), Gary (Dee) and Mark (Missy); 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 1, at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps Box 744, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 or to St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place for the wonderful care they provided to their mother throughout her stay.
