Joan A. Lamb, 65, of Baldwinsville, passed on Sunday, January 24, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Joan was born in Leonardsville, NY on May 9, 1944, the 12th of 13 children of Helen (Mercer) and Fay Lamb. Joan graduated from Fulton High School in 1962. She worked at the P&C Grocery Store in Baldwinsville for 20 years. Joan was pre-deceased by sisters Anna Larkin, Elizabeth Prenis, Irene Barnes and brothers John & Charles Lamb. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Joan's many friends for their care and concern during her illness.

Survivors: her beloved siblings, Cora Miller of Altmar, NY, Pauline Chabot of Unadilla, NY, Arlene Girard of Jupiter, FL, Audrey & Jerry Freeman of Baldwinsville, Dale & Patricia Lamb of Red Creek, NY, Helen Giucastro of Newington, CT, and Bruce Lamb of Bradford, NY; and many beloved nieces & nephews.

Service: 5:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Spring burial will be in Poolville Cemetery, Poolville, NY. Calling hours are 3:00 to 5:00pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
