Jeanne Roy, 85, of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday at Elderwood at Liverpool.

Jeanne Roy was born on October 25, 1940 in Buffalo, NY, to Francis Hogenkamp and Beatrice Hogenkamp.

Jeanne graduated with a bachelors degree from Niagara University. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and retiring from the Onondaga County Department of Health.

Jeanne was an active member of the Liverpool Garden Club, an avid reader, and spending time at Long Lake. She also loved downhill skiing and was instrumental in introducing her family to the sport, which has been now passed down to the next generation, while creating many memories on the slopes together.

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Rene J. Roy.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Paul (Lisa) Roy and daughter, Maureen (Robert) Henry both of Baldwinsville; nine brothers and sisters; three grandchildren, Maren Roy, Bridget Roy and Shannon Henry; and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pope John Xxiii Roman Catholic, 8290 Soule Rd, Liverpool. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. 

Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay.
