Jeanne Wilcox Brown, 75, of Liverpool died on Monday, May 30, 2022. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Sarah Cummings Wilcox and William W. Wilcox. She was a lifelong resident of Liverpool. She graduated from Syracuse University and Columbia College were she was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society.

Jeanne worked as a computer programmer for several local companies. She volunteered as a cancer mentor for ACS and Cancer Connects. She also volunteered for Contact Community Services as a telephone counselor. She helped run the Depressive Disorders Support Group for many years. She was a member of Nami Syracuse.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Gary Ellis Brown; two daughters, Jennifer Frataccia, and Jolie Brown Bower and her husband Richard Bower of Liverpool; three grandchildren, Jeremy and Hannah Wall, and Isabelle Jeanne Bower. She is also survived by her sister, Wendy Wilcox Hildmann of Cape Coral, FL; her cousin, William Bickham of McLean, VA, several nephews, and a niece.

At her request, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Preble, near several generations of her ancestors. Contributions in her name may be made to Nami Syracuse.
