Jean S. McManus, 86, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the home of her daughter, in Stanardsville Virginia. Jean was born in Syracuse, NY and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. She graduated from Baldwinsville High School and was employed for 26 years by the Farmer's Home Administration where she retired in 1986. Jean was an avid golfer, enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle and loved to travel. Jean was pre-decreased by her husband of 58 years, Charles F. McManus.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary McManus of Stanardsville, VA; a son Dr. Michael McManus of Del Mar, CA; a sister Thelma Campbell, of Medford, MA; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours 11am to 12pm, Friday, January 2, 2008 followed by a brief service at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
