Jean D. Bachner Golden, 71, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at home, with her loving family by her side, after a long battle with cancer. Jean was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. She was a dental hygienist for many years with both the VA Hospital and Onondaga County. Jean loved her patients, which was the reason she worked so many years before retiring. Jean was a "Grand" lady who loved her friends and family very much. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, John "Jack" Golden in 2003; her parents Martin & Dorothy Bachner and a sister; Shirley Bachner.

Survivors: Three daughters, Jan Golden, Jill Golden and Jodi Golden all of Baldwinsville; her sister, Irene Farmer of Clay; 4 brothers, Fred (Mary) Bachner of Dryden, Richard (Margaret) Bachner of Bluffton, SC, Robert (Lauren) Bachner of Ravina, NY, Donald (Mary) Bachner of Sacketts Harbor; her brother-in-law, Stephen (Florence) Golden of Liverpool and many nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours, 4-7pm Monday, July 26, 2010 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
