IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason M.
Nipper
January 2, 1996 – October 23, 2023
Jason Matthew Nipper, 27, of Phoenix, NY died on October 23, 2023. He was an alumnus of John C. Birdlebough High School Class of 2014. While attending school, he enjoyed two years of culinary classes at BOCES and was on the wrestling, soccer, and cross-country teams.
An industrious soul, Jason proudly began working at the Wrightway Hardware Store at the age of 16. His love of cooking led him to work at RFH's Hide-A-Way and Battle Island Restaurant. For many years he also worked alongside his father at the family business, Clean Care Service. His most recent employment at Matthews's Nissan of Clay and Persimmons Restaurant highlighted his love of working with his hands and cooking. He was enrolled in BOCES to pursue a career in welding.
Outside of work, Jason's passions included archery, appreciating sunsets, cooking for friends and family, and reading. Above all, his most treasured pastime was being with his family.
Jason will be missed by many. He leaves behind his parents, Dave and Teresa (Diamond) Nipper; brother, John (Mackenzie Layton) Nipper; sister, Kara (Trevor) Johnson; his two nieces, Oaklyn and Everlee Johnson; his grandmother, Mary Nipper; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Followed by a celebration of his life and a Mass of Christian Burial by Father Cliff Auth. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of donations, please pay forward the love and kindness that Jason shared with those he met.
